Goddess of Nightmares by MTDewer Goddess of Nightmares by MTDewer
Vaermina's sphere is the realm of dreams and nightmares, and from whose realm issues forth evil omens. Vaermina's plane of Oblivion is called Quagmire. It is described in The Doors of Oblivion as a nightmare realm, where every few minutes reality shifts and becomes ever more horrifying. I tried to create this in a still image by having her in the middle of a several scarry situation's. I then added an effect to give the image the look of an old worn photo to make it all look like a dream or distant memory. And it's a look I haven't used before in any of my other photomanip's, so it really make this one stand out, and I kind a like that.

Lots of things happening there, very intersting.
I think you shall add some light effects,
more contrast or something ^_^

Thanks for the comment. I was thinking the same thing about the contrast too, but it came with the tutorial I used to give the image a vintage look. But now that someone has voiced my own concerns I felt compelled to go back and fix it. So I've updated the image and I think you'll agree that it look's a bit better with blacker blacks.

Thanks again for your comment!
